Russian Railways has expanded the functionality of its service. Now passengers will be able to automatically buy tickets for sold-out trains. To do this, simply link a bank card, set a limit on funds, and the system will purchase the ticket itself as soon as it becomes available for sale.
So far, the new functionality is only available on the carrier's website for long-distance trains. An application to the "Waiting List" can now also be made in the "RZD Passengers" mobile application, but automatic redemption through it is not yet provided.
«Waiting List» is a new online service that will help passengers purchase tickets for a train that is already full. The sale will be approved if someone returns a ticket or additional cars are added.
