"Rosseti" has announced a tender for the creation of artificial intelligence to analyze data from drones. The contract amount is 125 million rubles, but the final price may change after bidding. Applications are accepted until August 11, and the winner will be determined on September 3, 2025.
Since 2020, the company has been actively using drones to inspect power lines. However, manual data processing has proven to be slow and not always accurate. The quality depended on specialists, and some defects remained unnoticed.
According to "Rosseti", from 2020 to 2022, the number of accidents due to untimely detection of problems has more than doubled. The new AI system should reduce these risks, speed up analysis, and improve diagnostic accuracy.
