От титана до углеродных композитов: АО ЦИТО (Ростех) представил инновационные протезы рук и ног для экстремальных нагрузок

The company provides a personalized approach with the latest technologies for civilians, military personnel, and professional athletes

TsITO JSC, part of Rostec, specializes in the development and production of high-tech prostheses and orthoses for upper and lower limbs, including endoprostheses. The company presented its products at the rehabilitation industry and universal design forum "Hope for Technology."

TsITO JSC offers individual solutions for various categories of users — from civilian patients to military invalids and residents of remote regions, providing comprehensive support and accommodation during rehabilitation.

Among the new products are modern insole orthoses and improved prostheses with reinforced structures made of titanium and high-strength composite materials. Special attention is paid to the reliability of products designed for significant loads and extreme operating conditions, which is important for combatants.

TsITO JSC also develops specialized sports prostheses designed for active users, including running models and options for snowboarding, water sports, and swimming. Sports products use quick-release adapters for changing feet, and waterproof materials and design solutions prevent moisture accumulation.

The rehabilitation process is based on an individual approach using assessment and feedback systems, such as KOPS and MISIL, which allow monitoring the dynamics of the load and the patient's adaptation to the prosthesis. Initially, fitting sleeves are made, which the patient wears for several months to form a comfortable fit and shape the stump.

For severe cases, including paired amputations, prostheses undergo phased adaptation: from minimal designs without knee modules to fully functional systems. The company's work is focused on long-term patient support, until the optimal level of comfort and functionality is achieved.

TsITO JSC also manufactures complex hand prostheses, taking into account the specifics of the tasks and the level of activity of users. The company's technical solutions are based on the use of modern materials and vacuum infusion technologies, as well as the reinforcement of structures with carbon composites to increase strength and durability.
