The Kravt Group (resident of the Technopark of St. Petersburg) has launched the production of unique batteries of its own design for drones. This was announced by the company's executive director, Alexander Voronov.
The line is now made with a view to the future to cover the needs of up to 200 thousand batteries per month with the possibility of expansion. A separate innovation is the ability to charge batteries even at low temperatures, which is especially important for polar latitudes.
Previously, these batteries were mainly supplied from China.
Such power sources can be widely used in portable medical devices, unmanned systems, marine equipment and other autonomous devices. In addition, the company is developing mass production of rechargeable batteries, including both simple and "smart" batteries with BMS (Battery Management System) of its own patented design.
The "smart" system monitors the condition of the battery and ensures its safe and efficient operation.
