The head of the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC), Patriarch Kirill, arrived on a working visit to Naberezhnye Chelny. He traveled in a black Aurus with a personalized monogram and coat of arms.
After the solemn ceremony of laying the foundation stone of the Resurrection Cathedral, the bishop visited the KAMAZ Scientific and Technical Center (STC) and the KAMAZ-Master sports center, where he was met by the general director of the enterprise, Sergei Kogogin, and the head of Tartartan, Rustam Minnikhanov.
Patriarch Kirill was shown K5 generation vehicles, the Kompas, Atlant series mining dump trucks, the KAMAZ electric bus, and the KAMAZ-53199 Chistogor electric garbage truck.
He was interested in the flagship of the K5 model range - the KAMAZ-54901. He got behind the wheel of a semi-trailer tractor and drove around the STC site. Minnikhanov was next to the bishop.
The head of the Russian Orthodox Church admitted that in his youth he saved money to buy a Vyatka scooter.
Moreover, I really loved extreme driving... Although, of course, the power was not enough, and then I thought that I needed to buy something more powerful. The older generation remembers - there were such Hungarian Pannonia motorcycles - that's the motorcycle I bought.
After the completion of the visit, the patriarch was presented with a KAMAZ-5222 suburban bus.
