Ангел-хранитель «Малик-5»: российские беспилотники-разведчики смогут уклоняться от атак дронов противника

Chechen Design Bureau "Tallamkho" Integrates Optical Drone Detector with AI into UAV Flight Control System

Russian reconnaissance drones will receive the option to evade enemy FPV drone attacks in automatic mode. This will be facilitated by the development of the "Tallamkho" Design Bureau—the "Malik-5" optical drone detector with artificial intelligence.

We are working on integrating the "Malik-5" optical drone detector with artificial intelligence into the flight control system of Russian reconnaissance drones to protect against kamikaze drones.

A source from the Grozny design bureau explained that the product is being refined at the request of UAV operators. Often, drones performing reconnaissance tasks are attacked by an enemy FPV drone, and their speed can reach up to 50 m/s on approach.

The process of transmitting information between the "wing" and the control panel is delayed. Operators do not have time to react manually.

The "Malik-5" autonomous detection system will transmit a command to the flight controller of the UAV itself, allowing it to automatically evade the impact. Thus, the development once again justifies its name "\"Malik\" - guardian angel," the representative of the Design Bureau summarized.
