Russian "Elbrus" processors are initially protected from cyber threats at the hardware level. This was announced by Alexander Kim, General Director of the Institute of Electronic Control Machines (INEUM). The architecture of the chips is designed to neutralize potential vulnerabilities even before malicious code appears.
Instead of fixing bugs in software, as many manufacturers do, "Elbrus" uses a "built-in immunity" approach — thanks to the processor's specific interaction with memory and the proprietary "Elbrus Linux" OS. This system is called "Secure Computing Technology."
