Military personnel of the search and rescue team on a Mi-8PSG Aerospace Forces (VKS) helicopter accompany the crews of army aviation on Ka-52, Mi-28, Mi-35 helicopters performing combat missions.
In the event of an emergency, the soldiers of the search and rescue team promptly arrive to provide assistance and, if necessary, transport the crew to the point of permanent deployment.
The search and rescue team includes a fire support group, as well as a medical department serviceman.
