Russian radio electronics deprived of billions in state support

Industry subsidies reduced by almost 12 billion rubles

Last year, the production volume of radio electronics increased by 27.5% (3.3 trillion), investments in the fixed capital of companies increased by 67.7% (312 billion), and the number of employees in the industry increased by 5.7% (462 thousand). The Ministry of Industry and Trade declined to comment on the situation.

Alexander Senyukov, Deputy General Director for Relations with Government Authorities at equipment manufacturer T8, suggested that the reduction in funding may be due to a change in the policy of the Ministry of Industry and Trade regarding support for radio electronic companies.

If earlier these were subsidies, for which companies were subject to strict requirements, now there is a transition to a mechanism of preferential lending, for which, perhaps, companies will only need to meet the entry criteria.
