The Omsk company "Promobit" presented an engineering prototype of the first domestic laptop for the consumer market based on the Russian "Elbrus" processor at the "Innoprom-2025" exhibition. This was reported by the press service of the Omsk Region government.
The working prototype of the BITBLAZE Titan 2С315 laptop from the Omsk company "Promobit" attracted the attention of guests of one of the largest Russian high-tech events.
The laptop is equipped with a 15.6-inch screen with Full HD resolution and a modern IPS-matrix. A dual-core Elbrus-2С3 with a clock frequency of 2.0 GHz, including built-in 2D/3D graphics and video accelerators, is used as a processor, according to information on the manufacturer's website — MCST company.
The device is also equipped with two 16 GB DDR-4 RAM sticks and a 512 GB M2 solid-state drive. Laptops with such characteristics are in demand in the public sector, including for import substitution purposes. The serial production of the device is scheduled for August 2025.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Elbrus-B processor, which surpasses AMD and Intel counterparts by 30-200 times, will be released in 2027.
