In the Belgorod region, more than 15 ambulances will be equipped with nets to protect against drones, according to Alexey Zhirov, chief physician of the regional emergency medical service station.
Five ambulances have received such protection and are already operating in Shebekino and Valuyki.
At the end of June, the Governor of the Belgorod Region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced the start of installation of protective structures on ambulances. This innovation is borrowed from the practice of protecting agricultural machinery.
We are looking for all possible ways to protect our medics. And we will continue this work in the future.
Earlier, an ambulance with an impressive-sized interior was assembled on the base of Lada Niva. The car's 1.7-liter gasoline engine develops a power of 83 horsepower.
