New High-Speed Train Production Center to Appear in the Urals

The Sinara plant in Verkhnyaya Pyshma will produce and test new generation electric trains

Sinara-Development Company presented construction solutions at the Innoprom exhibition, which are used in the construction of a complex for the production of high-speed trains in Verkhnyaya Pyshma. The completion of construction is scheduled for the end of 2026. It is expected that the thermal circuit will be closed in the fall of 2025, and the installation of technological equipment will begin in March 2026.

About 8 thousand tons of metal structures and over 40 thousand cubic meters of concrete will be used in the construction of two production buildings. On the territory of the Urals Locomotives plant, a building for the formation of body components, a building for commissioning electric trains, a traction drive test center, an administrative building are being built, and a site is being prepared for a design center.

For the commissioning building, located on man-made soils, a pile foundation was arranged under the frame and the power floor slab. The building will house three railway tracks: two with rail overpasses and technological pits, the third with an inspection pit and synchronized jacks with a lifting capacity of 20 tons.

When preparing the site for the body forming building, 100 thousand cubic meters of rock soil were used to strengthen the base. The building itself will consist of three spans and will be equipped with 11 overhead cranes with a lifting capacity of up to 16 tons.
