Удалось сбить более 500 беспилотников: разработчик рассказал об особенностях приложения «Радар.НФ»

Mobile application transmits signals via the internet and SMS

The "Radar.NF" mobile application, developed by the "People's Front," has become an important tool in combating drones in Russia. In nearly two years of operation, the application has helped shoot down over 500 unmanned aerial vehicles, according to project manager Mikhail Kamyshev.

The application was launched in August 2023. "Radar.NF" is designed for emergency response to threats related to drones and other dangerous events. Users can report detected drones, missiles, explosions, or suspicious groups of people with just two button presses. Signals can be transmitted both via the internet and through SMS, which is important in the absence of communication.

During this time, the application has been downloaded by nearly 1.5 million Russian citizens, and about 30,000 signals have been submitted… over 500 UAVs have already been shot down thanks to the signals submitted by citizens.

After sending a message, the information is immediately sent to federal services for verification and necessary action. This allows for a quick response to potential threats and increases the level of security in the country.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that Russians can report drones via the "Radar.NF" application.
