The "Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant" (KMZ) has concluded a new agreement with a regular customer for the manufacture of a batch of 5.5 kW diesel generator sets, the company's press service reported.
These diesel generators will be used as backup power sources on vehicles designed to house instruments and equipment operating in the field.
The stations are manufactured in an all-weather enclosure. To enable operation in the temperature range from -50 °C to +50 °C, the stations are equipped with a heating system and air cooling. Output voltage is 230V. The stations are supplied with spare parts kits for timely maintenance.
The new batch of generators will provide reliable power supply in conditions where access to stationary energy sources is limited. This is important for the effective performance of tasks in remote areas.
