Дети в опасности: мошенники стали прикидываться школьными психологами

Attackers use psychological manipulation to extort money from children

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia reports a new fraud scheme targeting teenagers. Attackers call children, posing as school psychologists. They report that the students have undergone psychological testing, and its results have become available for public viewing.

According to law enforcement agencies, scammers use intimidation tactics. They claim that the test results may lead to criminal cases due to personal data leaks. During the conversation, fraudsters send phishing links to teenagers, through which children can see their personal information.

As a result of such manipulations, teenagers are forced to take money out of their homes and hand it over through couriers. The Ministry of Internal Affairs urges parents to be vigilant and explain to their children how to recognize fraudulent schemes in order to protect them from possible threats.
