The Government of the Russian Federation will not support the payment of dividends by the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) for 2024. The corresponding document has been published on the official portal of legal acts.
The directives for state representatives on the USC board of directors do not provide for the payment of dividends based on the company's performance over the past year.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade has been instructed to ensure control over the expenditure of the released part of USC's net profit in the amount of 7.419 billion rubles.
Earlier, the USC Board of Directors approved the company's long-term development strategy until 2036. USC is the largest shipbuilding company in Russia, which includes more than 40 design bureaus, shipbuilding, ship repair and machine-building plants, as well as specialized enterprises in 15 regions of the country. In October 2023, the President of the Russian Federation approved the transfer of the state block of shares of USC to VTB's trust management for a period of five years.
Earlier www1.ru reported that USC and "CSoft" presented digital innovations in shipbuilding at CIPR-2025.
