The Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket has been assembled at the Baikonur Cosmodrome to launch the Progress MS-31 cargo spacecraft into orbit. This was reported by the Roscosmos press service.
The rollout of the rocket to the launch pad is scheduled for July 1, 2025. The launch itself will take place on July 3 at 22:33 Moscow time. The mission aims to deliver cargo to the International Space Station (ISS).
The Progress MS-31 cargo spacecraft is designed to supply the ISS with fuel, scientific equipment, food, and other materials necessary for the crew's work. Preparations for the launch are proceeding as normal, and all systems of the rocket and spacecraft have been successfully tested.
Earlier, specialists from RSC Energia and specialized enterprises of Roscosmos completed the operations to refuel the Progress MS-31 transport cargo spacecraft with fuel components and compressed gases, which is an important step before launch.
