An unusual offer has appeared on one of the Western classifieds sites - a VAZ-21099, better known as the Lada Forma, is for sale, which is rare for Europe. The car's mileage is only 5,600 kilometers, and the age is 33 years. The car is preserved in excellent condition and may well replenish a private collection as an authentic "time capsule".
The seller from Gießhübl, Austria, emphasizes that the car has always been stored in a garage and used as a family heirloom. Thanks to this, the body avoided corrosion, and the originality of all elements is preserved down to the smallest detail - from bolts to factory bumpers. A special charm is added by the blue export decals on the sides of the body, which in the 90s adorned most of the "Zhiguli" intended for foreign markets.
In terms of technical specifications, a 1.5-liter carburetor engine with a capacity of 68 horsepower is installed under the hood, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The car has front-wheel drive.
The owner of the car, calling it the embodiment of "timeless Soviet style", offers it for 6,000 euros (about 549 thousand rubles at the current exchange rate). This offer looks especially attractive, considering that in Russia, copies in similar condition often cost more.
