At the VIII All-Russian Scientific Youth Geocryological Forum in Yakutia, the Etalon scientific and production enterprise (part of RT-Tekhpriemka of the Rostec State Corporation) presented the latest sensors for monitoring soil temperature in the permafrost zone. The development is designed to minimize the risk of accidents at critical facilities — pipelines, roads and industrial facilities.
The device allows you to simultaneously measure the temperature at several points, which is especially important for analyzing the condition of freezing and thawing soils. The sensors are connected by a flexible cable that retains its elasticity even at extreme temperatures (from -50°C to +100°C). A high level of dust and moisture protection and explosion-proof marking make them suitable for use in mines, oil and gas facilities and other hazardous areas.
Digital temperature sensors developed by our Etalon increase the safety of key sectors of the economy by 100%, providing high measurement accuracy with an error of ±0.1 °C. This helps prevent accidents and ensures stable operation of facilities. Every year, the company supplies more than two thousand units of specialized equipment for the northern regions of the country.
The development of Etalon is fully consistent with the import substitution program and created from Russian materials.
