In the Kursk region, NPO "Kompozit" company, with the support of the federal and regional Industrial Development Funds (IDF), has launched serial production of shut-off and control valves for pipelines. The project was implemented with a total investment of 270 million rubles, of which 180 million rubles were provided by the federal IDF, and 20 million rubles by the regional fund.
The company plans to produce about 800 units of products per year, including valves with manual, electric and pneumatic control. According to the company's estimates, until 2022, the share of imported valves in the Russian market reached 44%, and now NPO "Kompozit" intends to occupy up to 14% of this segment. The main consumers will be enterprises in the mining, chemical and construction industries, and supplies to the CIS countries, Africa and Asia are also planned.
Thanks to the funds of the federal and regional Industrial Development Funds, the company has installed a modern production line and launched serial production of valves for all existing pipeline sizes on the market. Among the advantages of NPO "Kompozit" is its own production technology and a full cycle of manufacturing rubber components, as well as a wide network of customers operating pipelines of our production. At the same time, the products are at the same level as leading European and Russian analogues in terms of quality and functional characteristics and can be effectively used in the most difficult operating conditions.
Valves are used to completely or partially block the flow of a product that moves through a pipeline. They are used in various fields where it is necessary to transport liquids or media, including those with high abrasiveness, corrosive activity and other specific characteristics.
The company produces six types of valves:
- Knife gate – for shutting off flow with solid inclusions
- Pinch – regulate the flow by compressing the rubber tube
- Ball reversing – provide quick switching between pumps
- Wedge, plug and disc – for different media and pipe diameters
The level of production localization is 100%, which makes the products completely independent of foreign suppliers.
