The Russian Armed Forces have received a new modification of the Geranium-2 kamikaze drone. The footage appeared on social networks.
The Telegram channel "Military Informant" suggested that we are talking about "Geraniums" with an optical guidance system. Basic versions of drones attacked targets using pre-set coordinates.
The drone received a thermal imaging camera and a direct radio control system. This allows the "Geranium" to be used as a powerful FPV drone.
The presence of a thermal imaging camera allows the operator to detect heat sources, which ensures targeted destruction of the target at night and in conditions of smoke or fog.
