From June 26, 2025, the AvtoVAZ plant increased the cost of painting Lada car bodies in a "metallic" color from 15,000 to 20,000 rubles. This was reported in the manufacturer's press service. Dealers were notified of the changes.
Metallic is a type of paint that contains a special reflective pigment — aluminum powder. Thanks to this component, cars shimmer in the sun with a beautiful metallic sheen.
Until 2022, AvtoVAZ used paints from European suppliers. Due to sanctions, the plant was forced to gradually switch to Chinese paints and varnishes.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that AvtoVAZ will again rewrite price tags for Lada.
