Russia has completely replaced imported diesel engines for ships

At the same time, TMH-ER is not yet planning to bring its products to foreign markets

TMH - Energy Solutions (part of TMH) produces fully domestic diesel engines for ships, said Andrey Vasiliev, General Director of TMH-ER.

According to him, the company is not yet planning to bring products to foreign markets, but in the future, after securing a significant share in the domestic market, this possibility is not excluded.

Starting with the whole story with sanctions, one of our main tasks was to make the most domestic diesel engine. And today I can say with confidence that this task has been solved. It was a rather serious engineering challenge, but now we can say that diesel engines for our ships are completely domestic.

In addition, the company manages to make some engines more economically feasible than foreign counterparts, and in some types of engines, the economic characteristics of fuel consumption are much better than foreign ones.
