Новую защиту от слежки и спама для пользователей внедряют в МТС

New Membrana service available nationwide: arsenal includes data protection tools and temporary email addresses

Telecom operator MTS has announced the launch of its new Membrana service, which is now available to users throughout Russia. The service offers protection against surveillance, fraud, spam, and ad blocking.

One of the key features of the application is the ability to create temporary email addresses. Users will be able to register on various digital services without revealing their primary e-mail. This approach helps protect personal data and reduce the risk of receiving spam. Temporary mailboxes can be created for 10 minutes or 1 hour, after which all emails and the address itself will be permanently deleted. Sending messages from a temporary address is not possible — it is intended only for receiving.

MTS warns users against using temporary addresses for registration on services they do not want to lose access to, such as cloud storage or device accounts.

Membrana includes tools for blocking ads, protecting against viruses, and preventing unauthorized access to personal information. Since its launch in January 2025 in Moscow, the service has already gained popularity among users.

The cost of using it is 1900 rubles per month. The package includes 100 GB of internet traffic, unlimited calls to MTS numbers, 2000 minutes for calls to other operators, free incoming calls and SMS, as well as spam and tracker blocking features. Users can also hide their real IP address and monitor data leaks, making Membrana a reliable assistant in protecting personal information.
