New anti-surveillance and anti-spam protection for users is being introduced at MTS

The new Membrana service is available nationwide: in the arsenal - tools for data protection and temporary email addresses

The operator MTS announced the launch of its new Membrana service, which is now available to users throughout Russia. The service offers protection against surveillance, fraud, spam and ad blocking.

One of the key features of the application is the ability to create temporary email addresses. Users will be able to register on various digital services without revealing their primary e-mail. This approach helps protect personal data and reduce the risk of receiving spam. Temporary mailboxes can be created for 10 minutes or 1 hour, after which all letters and the address itself will be permanently deleted. Sending messages from a temporary address is not possible — it is only intended for receiving.

MTS warns users against using temporary addresses for registering for services that they do not want to lose access to, such as cloud storage or device accounts.

Membrana includes tools for blocking ads, protecting against viruses and unauthorized access to personal information. Since its launch in January 2025 in Moscow, the service has already managed to gain popularity among users.

The cost of using it is 1900 rubles per month. The package includes 100 GB of Internet traffic, unlimited calls to MTS numbers, 2000 minutes for calls to other operators, free incoming calls and SMS, as well as spam blocking features and trackers. Users can also hide their real IP address and monitor data leaks, which makes Membrana a reliable assistant in protecting personal information.
