The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec) will cut 1.5 thousand managers in Moscow in order to improve financial health and optimize costs, said the head of the company, Vadim Badeha. The reductions will not affect design bureaus, and will only affect administrative personnel.
We are not just talking about reducing personnel, but about increasing productivity and efficiency, reducing losses, which account for a significant share in our production activities.
According to him, UAC has set a goal to increase labor productivity by 30% by 2030.
As of the end of 2023, the number of UAC personnel was 93.4 thousand people. Due to the increase in production volumes, the number of personnel increased by 3.6% over the year. The share of administrative and managerial personnel was less than 10% (less than 9.34 thousand people), the rest was production personnel.
