Construction of the first three Project 19900M tankers will begin in September-October 2025 at the "Lotos" shipyard. This was announced by Natalya Oshiker, Deputy Director of the Department of Sales and Contracting of Civil Shipbuilding at the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC), at the "Shipbuilding RU 2025" conference in Nizhny Novgorod.
The series will include 18 vessels. USC does not rule out that some of them will be built at the "Krasnoye Sormovo" shipyard.
Project 19900M tankers were developed at USC according to the technical specifications of JSC "Rosnefteflot". The vessel has an increased class of environmental safety and automation.
Features of Project 19900M:
- 12 cargo tanks with a total volume of up to 8870 m3
- Length — 141 m
- Deadweight in fresh water — 3450 t
- Deadweight in sea water — 7900 t
- Draft — 4.6
The main feature is the ability to transport petroleum products of various types without restrictions on flash point.
