Armored recovery vehicles BREM-1M have proven their effectiveness on the battlefield. They perform crucial work in the combat zone and in the rear, Rostec reported.
BREM-1M transports various equipment to collection points for damaged vehicles or to shelters, including picking them up right under the enemy's nose. They also pull out stuck armored vehicles and provide assistance with their repair and maintenance in the field.
In one of the videos, the Ministry of Defense demonstrated how a BREM picks up a damaged American Abrams weighing up to 67 tons from the front. Despite the large mass of the US equipment, it is not difficult for the Russian vehicle.
BREMs have comprehensively confirmed their reliability and efficiency in performing various tasks. Compared to NATO evacuation vehicles, Russian BREMs have superior cross-country capability and maintainability. The vehicles also provide good protection for their crews, especially considering the additional elements.
BREM-1M was created on the basis of the T-90 tank, the vehicle received all the advantages of its chassis, including a powerful engine.
Earlier,www1.ru reported that the new patrol ship "Kholmsk" was launched.
