The new Lada Azimut crossover from AvtoVAZ will be slightly more expensive than other Lada models, but cheaper than market counterparts. This was announced by the head of the company, Maxim Sokolov.
On Wednesday, at the SPIEF-2025 in St. Petersburg, AvtoVAZ presented the Lada Azimut crossover, created on its own Vesta platform.
It will be slightly more expensive than today's line of AvtoVAZ cars, but it still won't be far off. It will still be cheaper on average than the market as a whole.
Mass production of the Lada Azimut is scheduled for 2026. At the start, the car will have modernized engines of its own production with a volume of 1.6 and 1.8 liters with a capacity of 120 and 132 hp, respectively, transmissions - a six-speed manual and a variator.
In the future, the crossover will receive a new turbocharged engine with a capacity of 150 hp with a classic automatic transmission.
