Новые приёмники сигналов «Экспресс-РВ» обеспечат связь в труднодоступных регионах России

The development of the "Reshetnev" company will allow receiving satellite signals on mobile and stationary objects, including the Northern Sea Route

The "Reshetnev" company is completing the development of signal receivers for the prospective "Ekspress-RV" satellites, which will operate in a highly elliptical orbit. These devices are designed to provide communication and data transmission in remote and sparsely populated regions of Russia, where traditional telecommunications infrastructures are unavailable.

The versatility of the new receivers is their special feature: they will be able to operate both at stationary stations and on mobile objects, including sea vessels and trains. This is especially important for the Northern Sea Route, where stable communication is critical for navigation and safety. The use of highly elliptical orbits will ensure stable coverage in the Arctic latitudes, where geostationary satellites are less effective.

Currently, "Reshetnev" engineers are developing modems for subscriber terminals and central stations, as well as a specialized terminal for railway transport. The launch of the "Ekspress-RV" satellites is scheduled for the coming years.
