"New Wagon Repair Company" has received a certificate of compliance with TR TS 001/2011 for the serial production of modernized platforms 13-6788 - the document will be valid until May 2030. Thanks to the work carried out, the service life of the 32-year-old wagon has been extended by another 16 years.
The platform was developed by Eurosib Engineering by order of Eurosib SPb-TS based on the timber model 13-4012-06 manufactured by Dneprovagonmash.
During the modernization, the racks, beams and shields were dismantled, new sides and fitting stops were installed, and the structure was reinforced. As a result, the platform is adapted for the transportation of wheeled and tracked vehicles, packaged goods and containers.
The wagon has a carrying capacity of 72 tons with an axial load of 23.5 tons and a floor area of 37 m². It is planned to modernize 65 units in 2025, and the total series will be 2000 wagons.
