The new Russian Paper paper mill was officially opened in the Ulyanovsk Port Special Economic Zone (PSEZ) on June 11, becoming the only manufacturer of high-quality sanitary and hygienic paper in the region. The company plans to produce almost seven thousand tons of products per year.
The launch of two new productions is an important step in implementing the strategy of import substitution of components for the automotive industry and essential consumer goods.
The founder of UBK Russian Paper LLC, Yuri Korotin, noted that the company's immediate plans include reaching full production volumes and expanding the range. Currently, products are manufactured under the MARFA brand and include paper towels, toilet paper and napkins of various modifications. In the future, it is planned to launch professional series of sanitary and hygienic products, box cardboard and kraft paper.
The production of aluminum products by RusEkoLit LLC has started within the Ulyanovsk Special Economic Zone. This innovative project is aimed at developing the foundry industry and resumes the implementation of an investment project that was suspended due to the refusal of the Swedish owner. The company will produce parts by casting for automakers such as KamAZ, GAZ and UAZ, as well as for new Russian plants created on the basis of former Volvo and Renault enterprises.
The first phase of the project is being implemented in a building with an area of 1.2 thousand square meters. In the future, it is planned to build its own plant with an area of 12 thousand square meters on a plot of 1.7 hectares. In the second half of this year, the company intends to begin designing a new production building.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a new plant for the production of tools for machine-building and oil and gas enterprises will be built in Pervouralsk.
