The production of unmanned tractors will be launched in the Tomsk region as part of a new industrial cluster. This became known at a meeting of the interdepartmental working group, which was held by the Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov with the participation of the Governor of the region Vladimir Mazur.
Alikhanov stressed that unmanned tractors will be used not only in agriculture, but also in the work of public utilities and airports. The list of cluster participants has already been formed.
The list of cluster participants includes 17 industrial enterprises — such as "Mikran", NII PP, "Sibkabel", Cognitive Pilot, the scientific and production center "Unmanned Aviation Systems", which we opened under the national project of the same name, the first beyond the Urals. Of course, Tomsk universities – TUSUR, TSU and TPU – will also be included in the cluster. We have also identified eight priority projects, and the development of an air-laser scanning module (Lidar) refers to the projects of technological sovereignty of the country.
The members of the working group aim to complete the creation of the industrial cluster by September 2025, and the application for its registration is planned to be sent on August 1. This initiative is aimed at developing innovative technologies and improving efficiency in various industries.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Cognitive Pilot started mass production of autonomous tractors and robot agronomists.
