Artem Khomutinnikov, head of the new car sales department at Avito, attributes the decrease in prices for new cars to the intense competition between dealers. They actively use discounts to attract customers.

In May 2025, 91,200 new passenger cars were sold in Russia. This is 28.3% less than in the same period of 2024, when 127,200 cars were sold.
