The corvettes "Rezky", "Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov" (Project 20380), the medium sea tanker "Pechenga" of the Pacific Fleet, and ships of the Indonesian Navy entered the Java Sea for joint exercises. This was reported in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The Indonesian Navy frigate "John Lie" and corvette "Wiratno" were involved in the exercise.
The crews of the Russian and Indonesian ships conducted communication training and joint tactical maneuvering in the designated area. The sailors practiced various formation options and passage along a given course in a wake column.
After completing the exercise tasks, the Russian ships continued to perform the tasks of a long-distance voyage.
