Heavy Industry — Heavy CAD: USC and CSoft Present Digital Innovations in Shipbuilding at CIPR-2025

Key achievements in the digital transformation of the industry demonstrated at the largest industrial exhibition

United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) and CSoft Group presented joint developments in the field of shipbuilding digitalization at the "Digital Industry of Industrial Russia" (CIPR-2025) exhibition. The main emphasis was placed on the implementation of domestic software solutions that optimize the full cycle of design and production of marine equipment.

Among the key projects is the creation of a Russian heavy CAD (computer-aided design) system for shipbuilding, as well as digital production management platforms. The stand showcased a dock developed by the «Almaz» design bureau using Model Studio CS and CADLib software from CSoft. A TechnologiCS subsystem was also presented, providing technological preparation of production based on digital models.

Currently, the technologies are being tested at the USC plants «Krasnoye Sormovo» and «Proletarsky Zavod» as part of the «Digital Production» project.
