The crew of the diesel-electric submarine "Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky" of Project 636.3, code "Varshavyanka," of the Pacific Fleet (TOF), performed a deep-sea dive to its maximum depth in the Sea of Japan. This was reported by the press service of the Pacific Fleet.
As part of practicing combat training activities, the military personnel checked the operation of all mechanisms and systems of the submarine and practiced the algorithm of actions when controlling the ship at great depths.
The Pacific Fleet added that after completing the exercise, the submarine surfaced, and the crew continued to carry out activities in accordance with the fleet's combat training plan.
