The "Atom" electric car from the Russian company "Kama" has already received 105 thousand pre-orders, according to an insider. The majority of orders are from corporate clients (B2B), but private buyers (B2C) are also showing interest.
One of the intended uses for the "Atom" is as a taxi. The electric motor produces 150 kW (204 hp), the range is up to 500 km, and charging to 80% takes about 30 minutes.
The cross-hatchback is 3995 mm long, 1790 mm wide and 1643 mm high and is built on a base with a wheelbase of 2635 mm. Among the features are swing doors without central pillars, a display integrated into the steering wheel, an AI voice assistant and an AR HUD projection display.
Mass production will begin in July at the "Moskvich" plant. The starting price is from 3 million rubles.
