Who is the "Atom" electric car being created for: corporate clients have taken their place in the queue

Already 105 thousand pre-orders, private buyers are in the minority

The "Atom" electric car from the Russian company "Kama" has already received 105 thousand pre-orders, according to an insider. The main part of the orders comes from corporate clients (B2B), but private buyers (B2C) are also showing interest.

One of the intended uses for the "Atom" is as a taxi. The electric motor produces 150 kW (204 hp), the range is up to 500 km, and charging to 80% takes about 30 minutes.

The cross-hatchback, with a length of 3995 mm, a width of 1790 mm, and a height of 1643 mm, is built on a base with a wheelbase of 2635 mm. Among the features are swing doors without central pillars, a display built into the steering wheel, an AI voice assistant, and an AR HUD projection display.

Mass production will begin in July at the "Moskvich" plant. The starting price is from 3 million rubles.
