Zelenodolsk Shipyard (part of the Ak Bars shipbuilding corporation) plans to complete testing of the first hydrogen-powered passenger vessel in Russia, the vessel of project 00393 "Ecobalt", in June. This was announced by Alexander Filippov, General Director of the Gorky Plant.
The vessel is undergoing testing. We need a maximum of 10-15 days to complete the vessel's testing. At the moment, we understand that the hydrogen plant is working.
Earlier it was reported that the vessel was to be delivered by the end of 2023, but the deadlines were postponed due to the expected delivery of the necessary power equipment.
The innovative vessel of the "Ecobalt" project 00393 is operated by a crew of two and can carry up to 10 passengers at a speed of 12.2 km/h. The autonomy of navigation is five hours.
The main purpose of the vessel is to serve as a platform for the development of new technologies. In the future, such vessels may have various purposes and will be especially in demand in regions with high environmental requirements.
Earlierwww1.ru reported that the first Russian hydrogen vessel "Ecobalt" ispreparing for testing.
