The GAZ-24-02 «Volga» station wagon in Russia has been turned into a super-powerful hypercar. This car, which is a dragster, was created to participate in the RDRC Pro competitions, where super-fast cars with a capacity of 4000 hp and higher compete, capable of accelerating to 300 km/h in 4 seconds.
The new model resembles the GAZ-24-02 station wagon. But its body has become three-door and shortened. This improves aerodynamic performance and maneuverability. The public premiere of the 4000-horsepower «Volga» will take place at the RDRC 2025 event, which starts on June 13 at the RDRC Racepark racetrack in Bykovo.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the FDR12 racing hybrid car was created from innovative domestic materials.
