At the Startup Village 2025 conference in Moscow, the company "Medtech" presented over 25 innovative projects, including unique developments in spinal surgery and early diagnosis of mental disorders. The center, created to support joint initiatives of doctors and scientists, helps accelerate the introduction of new technologies into clinical practice.
"Medtech" concentrates all the best developments in Russia, some of which were created for the first time in the world.
"Medtech" is not just financial support, but a full cycle of support for medical innovations: from concept to implementation in hospitals. As representatives of the company noted in an interview with www1.ru, their goal is to reduce the time and costs of development so that patients can quickly access advanced treatments.
The uniqueness of our center is that it provides not only financial support, but also all types of consulting and other services from the moment the idea is born, its development, to the moment it is introduced into clinical practice. Many of our developments are actually immediately, in a year or two, if they have already passed some initial testing, are directly put into use in the hospitals where they were created, and patients have access to them.
Among the presented projects are innovative implants for spinal stabilization, developed under the guidance of Dmitry Dzyukaev in the spinal center. Also of particular interest is omics technology, which allows identifying the risks of mental illnesses, such as bipolar disorder and depression, at the molecular level with an accuracy of over 90%.
Omics technology is big data, it is the analysis of the genome, molecules, proteins, lipids, metabolites, which allow for early diagnosis of diseases or any pathologies at the molecular level.
The method is based on the analysis of various markers associated with mental disorders. This makes it possible to establish the risk of developing pathologies even before clinical manifestations, which opens up opportunities for preventive therapy.
The event in Moscow became an important platform for demonstrating the achievements of Russian medical science. In total, "Medtech" has more than 170 projects in its portfolio, some of which are already being used in clinics.
