The quality of products manufactured at the Tutaev Motor Plant (a subsidiary of PJSC "KAMAZ") will be improved through additional checks. The program is designed for 2025, according to the automaker's press service.
Throughout the year, engines and assembly units will undergo periodic testing for compliance with design documentation requirements, including 1000-hour testing of a 600 hp engine. In addition, the program includes improving the quality and reliability of components purchased from suppliers.
Modifications of Tutaev Motor Plant engines for tractors will receive certificates of compliance with the requirements of TR TS 031/2012 "On the safety of agricultural and forestry tractors and trailers for them".
The company also expects to obtain permission to perform the following types of work:
- manufacture of marine internal combustion engines (ICE) and spare parts
- development of technical documentation and repair of ICE
The Tutaev Motor Plant produces diesel engines with a capacity of up to 650 hp. Its power units are installed on Kirovets tractors, forage harvesters, tractors, dump trucks, river vessels, and diesel locomotives. The product line includes gearboxes and automotive winches.
