In the first four months of 2025, only 10 Lada Aura sedans were sold in St. Petersburg. This data is provided by the "Avtomarketolog" analytical center.
Despite significant discounts, which in some cases reach 1.15 million rubles, the demand for the car remains extremely low. Previously, the maximum benefit upon purchase reached 800 thousand rubles, but even increasing the discounts did not contribute to the growth of interest in the model.
Against the background of weak sales, the Aura is clearly losing in competition with foreign cars, especially in the segment of spacious business sedans. During the same period, 23 Toyota Camry cars were sold in St. Petersburg, which are supplied to Russia under a parallel import scheme. At the same time, the Japanese model costs about twice as much as the domestic competitor, and it is almost impossible to get such large discounts on it.
According to analysts, the share of Lada Aura in the sales structure of LADA brand cars in St. Petersburg is less than 0.5%. This indicates that even with an aggressive pricing policy, the model cannot win the interest of a significant number of buyers. Perhaps the reason is in the perception of the brand, the positioning of the car, or a lack of confidence in the new player in the business segment.
