The United Wagon Company (UWC) has certified the 19-9591 hopper. It is designed for the transportation of mineral fertilizers.
The wagon with an axle load of 25 tс will be produced at the Tikhvin Railway Car Building Plant (TVSZ, part of UWC). The certificate is valid until May 2030.
The new model differs from the serial hopper 19-9835-01 in its increased body volume — from 101 to 107 m³ due to the increased roof height. The load capacity was also increased from 76.7 to 77.3 tons. The number of valves to prevent vacuum formation was increased from two to four, and the bolster assembly was reinforced. The assigned service life of the new wagon is 32 years.
