Шаг к импортозамещению в электронике: новую версию отечественного микроконтроллера MIK32 «Амур» представят к 2030 году

Domestic Chip to Receive Support for Ethernet, CAN Interfaces, and Cryptography for Drones and IoT

By 2030, Russia plans to present an improved version of the first domestic microcontroller MIK32 "Amur," designed for managing industrial systems and Internet of Things devices. This was announced by representatives of JSC "Mikron" at the first instrument-making forum "Priborium" in Novosibirsk.

The new model will maintain compatibility with the current version, which will simplify the transition for users to the updated platform. As explained by the developing company, the device will receive expanded data processing capabilities, Ethernet support for local networks, and CAN interfaces for synchronizing devices in real-time. Additionally, the microcontroller will be adapted for integration with unmanned aerial vehicles and equipped with a cryptographic module for information protection.

Mass production of the basic version of MIK32 "Amur" started in February 2024. The device is already used in industrial automation, smart home, telemetry, and climate control systems. According to engineers, the microcontroller ensures precise interaction of components in critical infrastructures — from aviation to medical equipment.

Microcontrollers serve as the "brain" for millions of devices, ensuring their coordinated operation. The development of domestic analogues reduces dependence on foreign technologies, which is especially relevant in the context of sanctions.
