The first photos of the interior of the new Lada Iskra have appeared online. Insiders shared pictures of the interior of the most expensive version of the car.
The car is assembled neatly, although the finishing materials look quite simple, according to the authors of the photo. In the central part of the cabin there is a long CVT control lever. Next to it there is a niche for small items and two USB-A ports: everything is made for the convenience of the driver and passenger.
The climate system in Lada Iskra does not have an automatic mode. Even in the top version, a simple system with air conditioning is installed. Above the center console there is a block of buttons, among which there are buttons for heated front seats and heated windshield. A media system with a touch screen is available.
In the top configuration, the car will be equipped with a 1.6-liter engine with a capacity of 106 horsepower, working in tandem with a CVT. A simpler version will receive the same engine, but with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The basic model will have a 90-horsepower engine and a 5-speed manual.
Sales of Lada Iskra will begin on July 20. However, production difficulties may affect the timing. The model promises to be an interesting offer on the market, despite some limitations in the trim and configuration. The car combines affordability and modern technology.
