Investments in the project will exceed 330 million rubles

The company "Saula", which is a resident of the industrial park "Phoenix", plans to invest more than 300 million rubles in the construction of a complex for the production of radiation protection equipment in the Smolensk region. This was announced by the governor of the region, Vasily Anokhin. According to him, the launch of the project will create 80 new jobs.

The new site will produce radiation protection equipment: special building materials and equipment for X-ray rooms in hospitals, pharmaceutical organizations, research institutes, and nuclear industry enterprises.

The investor was allocated a plot of land. The company has prepared project documentation for the construction of buildings and has begun earthworks. In addition, block-modular boiler equipment, ventilation systems and a transformer substation for the future production complex have already been purchased.

The scientific and production complex is planned to be completed by the end of the year. Its area is 4.5 thousand square meters.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense received a patent for a new robotic complex. It was created to search for and safely remove radioactive materials in contaminated areas.
