Specialists of the repair and restoration battalion of the Russian Armed Forces restored a damaged combat vehicle of the 122-mm BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket system (MLRS). This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The defense department explained that the soldiers are engaged in the repair, restoration and maintenance of artillery systems and military equipment around the clock.

On the BM-21 Grad, the guide tubes are currently being replaced and the gearbox on the generator is being repaired.

8 guide tubes were damaged on the combat vehicle.

The repair and restoration battalion returns to service Soviet towed M-46 guns, Soviet towed D-30 howitzers, Hyacinth self-propelled guns, Msta self-propelled howitzers and other artillery installations.
