UAZ has started modernizing its production sites and equipment. This was reported by the company's press service.
The upgrade of production facilities is aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of manufactured equipment. Currently, the company is completing the installation of a modern laser cutting complex for parts of the UAZ "Pickup" and UAZ "Profi" models with a double cabin. This innovation will significantly increase the accuracy and speed of component processing.
In the painting production, a new section is being installed for applying a polymer coating - polyurea. The material will protect the cargo compartments of vehicles from internal impacts during transportation.
Modernization of the areas for launching the project for welding local units of Sollers pickups — Sollers ST6 and ST8 will begin in April 2025. The transition to new equipment is scheduled for September 2025.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the "Patriot", "Hunter" and "Profi" of the 2025 model year increased in price.
