The SKAT 350 M reconnaissance drone from the «Kalashnikov» concern in the combat zone received several hits after a burst of automatic fire and continued to operate. One of the presented images clearly shows that the wing of the SKAT is badly damaged by bullets.
Nevertheless, the drone managed to continue operating, and the crew landed the SKAT 350 M on the ground. The military uses it for tactical reconnaissance and in conjunction with guided loitering munitions of the KUB family.
The design of the SKAT is a flying wing of reinforced construction, adapted for parachute landing.
It lacks protruding and fragile elements that are prone to damage during landing. The wingspan is 3.2 m, which, together with the design features, allows it to perform tasks at different altitudes.
