KamAZ presented a new heavy tractor with the index "65956" at an exhibition in Kazan. The model has a payload capacity of 108 tons and a 6x4 wheel arrangement.
The tractor is equipped with a 560-horsepower P6 engine and a 16-speed manual transmission. The gross weight of the road train is up to 120 tons.
Certification of the new product is scheduled for autumn 2025. Serial production of the tractor will begin in 2026. The "65956" model is part of the K5 line.
KamAZ also plans to launch production of the KamAZ-65959 dump truck with a 6x6 wheel arrangement. This model is already available in the configurator, and sales are expected in the summer.
In the future, the K5 line dump trucks should replace the old KamAZ-6520 trucks of the K3 family. However, at the moment, heavy trucks will only be produced with "mechanics", work on the "automatic" is ongoing.
